Soleo 6036 Ultra-Flat Slat Architectural Hybrid WPC Aluminum Batten (4″ x 5/8″)

The Geolam Soleo 6036 is an ultra-flat architectural hybrid slat measuring 4″ x 5/8″, combining an anodized aluminum alloy core (A6063S-T5 Series 6000) with a wood/polypropylene composite (WPC) outer skin through Geolam’s exclusive co-extrusion process. With a 6.7:1 face-to-depth ratio, the Soleo 6036 is the thinnest profile in the Soleo range and is designed specifically for high-density decorative screen systems and louvered facade applications where minimal projection from the facade plane, a tight slat pitch, and a fine wood-grain surface texture are the design intent. At 0.67 lb/ft it places very little dead load on supporting subframes. Non-combustible per ASTM E-136 with a 1,600 lineal ft minimum for all colors and custom lengths up to 19 ft 8 in. End caps and connectors are not available. Specify required lengths at time of order.

How does the 6036 differ from the Soleo 6005?	Both are flat, thin profiles suited to fine-pitch screen applications. The 6036 is wider at 4" (100 mm) vs 1 3/4" (45 mm) on the 6005, producing a broader slat face with a higher face-to-depth ratio. The 6005 at 1" depth casts a slightly more defined shadow line. For ceiling grid applications or very high-density screens, the 6036's wide thin profile creates a more surface-flush visual result.
