Its 4 1/8″ face and 2 1/8″ depth produce a bold, chunky rectangular batten profile (close to a 2:1 face-to-depth ratio) that casts deep, pronounced shadow lines across louvered façade screen systems and brise-soleil accents, giving facade installations a strong timber-like three-dimensional character at the scale architects specify for statement screen and cladding work.
