Soleo 6031 Wide-Slim Architectural Hybrid WPC Aluminum Batten (5″ x 1 1/8″)

The Geolam Soleo 6031 is a wide-slim architectural hybrid batten measuring 5″ x 1 1/8″, combining an anodized aluminum alloy core (A6063S-T5 Series 6000) with a wood/polypropylene composite (WPC) outer skin through Geolam’s exclusive co-extrusion process. Its broad 5″ face with a refined 1 1/8″ depth creates a flat, plank-like aesthetic well suited to louvered aluminum batten facade screens, brise-soleil systems, and wide-pitch decorative cladding applications where a generous wood-grain face is required without added depth. At 1.08 lb/ft, it remains easy to handle and install across long screen runs. Teak and Rosewood colorways are stocked in the USA with no minimum order, non-combustible per ASTM E-136, with custom lengths available up to 19 ft 8 in.

Key Benefits

Authentic Wood Appearance The Soleo 6031’s wide 5″ face paired with a refined 1 1/8″ depth delivers a flat, wide-plank wood-grain aesthetic across louvered facade screens and decorative cladding systems, replicating the warmth of stained hardwood at a scale that reads clearly at a distance.
Non-Combustible Certified non-combustible per ASTM E-136 (appendix), making the Soleo 6031 suitable for fire-regulated commercial, high-rise, and institutional facade and screen applications.
Zero Maintenance The Soleo 6031 never requires staining, sealing, or painting. It resists UV fading, moisture, and weathering without any periodic treatment throughout its full service life.
Performance The aluminum alloy core delivers a secondary moment of 72.6 cm⁴ along its length axis at 1.08 lb/ft, providing a strong and dimensionally stable profile for large-span aluminum batten cladding and screen systems with a thermal expansion coefficient of 23.4 μm/m/°C.
Stocked in the USA Teak and Rosewood are stocked in the USA with no minimum order, enabling fast delivery for specifications, samples, and smaller projects without the lead times of made-to-order profiles.
