ARCHITECT TESTIMONIAL
Smith Gee Studio
Starbucks, Nashville, TN
About this project:
Developed by H.G. Hill Realty Company, the Hill Center Greenwood Starbucks is a portion of a master planned residential and retail hub in the heart of East Nashville. Smith Gee Studio designed the exterior shell of this project with MJM Architects serving as the interior architect. This project is unique for Starbucks as their typical single tenant prototype generally addresses the street with the back of house and drive thru which creates a less appealing front elevation. Reorienting the building to the street, we’re able to put the drive thru and coffee bar activity on display to the public. This is highlighted by the Vertigo 5010 that brings warmth to the entry canopy that wraps around the building and becomes the canopy for the the drive thru.
Why did you select Geolam?
We chose the Geolam Vertigo 5010 for its warm wood tones, durability, easy installation, and low maintenance.
