The Geolam Planeo 4044 is a large-format hybrid architectural element measuring 6 7/8″ x 3 3/8″, produced through Geolam’s exclusive co-extrusion process by internally bolting Geolam hybrid profiles together to form a single wide, deep board. The anodized aluminum alloy core (A6063S-T5 Series 6000) with sanded wood/polypropylene composite (WPC) outer skin delivers the authentic grain and warmth of stained hardwood across a bold, substantial face. With a secondary moment of 358.80 cm⁴ along its length axis, the Planeo 4044 is suited to large-scale decorative fin, louvered screen, and brise-soleil applications where visual presence and long-term dimensional stability matter. | Cutting (important note) | The Planeo 4044 is assembled from multiple internally bolted hybrid profiles. Boards may only be field-cut within the 2″ section at each end that extends past the end bolts. Do not cut anywhere else along the length as this may compromise the board’s integrity. Use a fine-tooth saw for all cuts. |
